Overview
I designed interfaces and presentation materials for Symphoria, an eDiscovery platform by Black Ice. The work followed my decks for Black Ice: the company presents Symphoria as the successor to SARA, its flagship platform. The product helps make large collections of documents and relationships understandable for legal and analytical work.
The central design problem was to keep the graph, the source evidence and the analyst’s questions connected. Entity cards, contextual panels and conversational search turn a dense information space into a sequence of manageable decisions.
Conversational search: the answer sits beside the source document it came from.
The presentation work explains the same system at a different scale: from the overall workflow to a specific interface and its role in an investigation.
